Off camera flash worked fantastically for these band pics. I have a wireless transmitter (that cost $100) that I connect to my camera and to my flash. I then have a round plastic casing (like a big round lighbulb cover) that my flash sits in, creating wider smoother coverage. This connects to a monopod that can be held at various angles.

Here are some examples of unique off camera lighting from the Fido shoot on Monday night.

Watch your shadows with multiple people Karen - note the last one the far right guy is disappearing into darkness.

Ah ha ha! Yellow shirt guy is my brother smile.gif and yep, one pose face... Thinks he's cool.Thanks for the CCAussie Aussie Aussie! Yep Flip Flops (or thongs) are definitely the in thing here. Specially for surfy boys such as them.
