I've spent most of this evening following every link I could find about off camera lighting and WOW how things have changed in just 3 SHORT YEARS! (for those of you who don't know me well yet, the short of the long of it is: I'm returning from a 3 year hiatus-- previously shot digital with a bare bulb Sunpack (WITH MUCH disapointment) Went to lugging my umbrella lights around and gave that up!

I'm starting all over with a new system--
I have the Cannon 30D
Cannon 430 EX and a Cannon 550EX

I need some help in figuring out the best configuration for a combination of lighting for weddings.

Pocket Wizards?
Slave flashes on light stands?
Microsync?
Radio Poppers (although, I understand these are not available yet)
Quantum?

What brackets to use for attaching the slave flashes to light stands?

I'M OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS...

I see A LOT of info for the 580 EX II and other flashes but I'd love some "customized" help with the equipment I currently have.

What does everyone think of Gary Fong's diffusers? I purchased the cloud, the clear, the yellow inserts and two of the silver inserts (don't worry, I got a good deal from Ebay--) But they're so darned "bulky"... I'm not sold on them now that I have them.

I do hope someone can help me put together a top notch system...
