I'm looking for a cost estimating/budgeting/pricing thingy? That's the right terminology. I'm sure of it!
I posted this on another forum, but I wanted OSP input thumbsup.gif
Really, just looking for simple stuff, like if your costs are $____, then I need to make $_____ a year, which breaks down to $_____ a month and $_____ per wedding to cover my expenses, and $_____ if I want to make a decent living.
I know I can do this on something like excel, but I'm trying not to re-invent the wheel.
Even rules of thumb are welcome
Thanks
Michael

Here is a really good calculator, I use it every year: NPPA Cost of Doing Business Calculator

Hey Michael,

Not necessarily what you are looking for BUT I thought I'd share something my hubby advised me budgeting wise. Save 10% of your earnings for tool replacement. There will come a time when you will have to make replacements or purchase something new. He also told me to make sure I automatically put a certain percentage of my earnings in savings specifically for taxes. I won't share the percentage he told me, it was a little discouraging. hahaha.
Maybe you all do this already and am preaching to the choir. biggrin.gif

Heather, thanks for that link, I'm gonna check it out.
