I have been getting more inquiries for Anniversaries, Birthdays, and Debut events...but I'm not sure how to approach this since it's not exactly a wedding. What do you offer?
Do you offer an hourly rate and sell products al la carte?
Do you offer event packages that are separate from your wedding packages?

What do you offer?

I offer a $500 hourly rate with a $3,000 minimum fee.

They get the disc of images plus online proofing.

Any prints, framed images, albums, extra photographers, out of state travel, etc are extra smile.gif

Thanks Brady. Do you have a max number of images you will offer?

My hourly event rate really depends on what it is.. corporate or not? Corporate events will obviously jump up my rates quite a bit. How big is the gathering? how long will I be commissioned? all of these are questions I ask to determin if I am going to charge $250 an hour or something more like $600 an hour. Hope that helps Janet!

Thanks Sarah, this is helpful info.
My inquiries are more like aquintances of mine who want to hire a photographer for their personal events like a wedding anniversary or cotillion, and are only asking for a disk of the images.

So, it seems most people charge an hourly rate with the disk included and offer other products al la carte? Anyone else want to share how you separate weddings and events?
