i am getting ready to design my wedding photography ad for a local magazine. being a graphic designer along with doing photography has its advantages, but my creativity level isn't there today. maybe it because of the crappy weather outside my studio window. anyways, i'm going to feature my website and contact info, but any out of the box ideas ppl would like to help me with? types of pictures to use- bride, candid funny shot of a groom, little flower girl and bride at wedding?

or if you have ads post for inspiration!
thanks

Well, I don't know how inspired you'll be by this, but here is my ad...

Great Matt, very unusual indeed.

Where did you use it ie paper, flyers etc???

It is a magazine ad, but I suppose postcards would work quite nicely as well.

Thanks everybody! Originally, the captions were "Before" and "After" but Jules smacked me in the head and told me that was confusing. I did a quick focus group with about ten friends and it was split down the middle as being confusing. So I came up with "Day 1" and "Day 801."

The nice thing about it is I can change the pictures in the future to include other couples which grow into families. But not all kids will give me such a great face! smile.gif
