Casio are releasing a new camera that will shoot at 60 frames per second. That's even faster than film! It even stores in memory what is in the viewfinder a few moments before as well so if you've missed the shot you can still capture it. You can read about it here:

i have no idea what I would need to shoot at 60 fps, as i understand it the standard 35mm pro movie camera shoots at 24 fps.

I'm still waiting for the one that will record what I was thinking of shooting and mathematically make the "artistic" adjustments in-camera. In other words, it will accomplish my pre-visualization and post processing tasks right at the time of capture.

That would be exciting!! thumbsup.gif

it seems utterly pointless. great, the technology is there, but who cares? it isnt practical at all on the consumer market, and certainly not for 99.99999999% of professional photographers.
