Again, Hi All,

Last question for awhile, I think. We are wanting to get a few more batteries for our cameras and just wanted some opinions - $50/battery seems a bit steep - but are we best off with the Canon ones, and if so, know of any good deals? Thanks!

It has been my personal experience that the Canon batteries last longer than any other brand. I have a variety of brands thanks to my sweet parents trying to get me stocking stuffers and such. In regard to deals, I am not sure. Good luck!

I have used several different brand batteries with the 5d and do not notice any difference, although I mix and match 2 at a time in the battery grip. In general they all last a long time. If it were me, I would go with the lower priced batteries. There is not really a benefit to stay with the Canon brand.
