Full Version: Inexpensive Photobook?

I sold a parent photobook to a father of a bride. I orginally priced it based on Zookbinders photobook. I do not offer anything zookbinders anymore (bad experience) so I need to go somewhere else. I like vision art but the prices are a little too high for me.

Does anyone know of a company that produces inexpensive photobooks?

THANK YOU!

Hey there -

I'm not sure how inexpensive you're trying to go, but I am using KISS for my parent albums (as well as my wedding albums) and I think they are very reasonably priced. I will be ordering their 8x8s as my parent albums.

Thanks but...I am not looking for a wedding album, more like a small photobook with those thin "board" pages.
I was looking for something that would cost under $150 for an 8x8 with 18 pages.

Just like zookbinders new photobooks.

If you sold him a Zookbinders photo book then I think you should probably deliver a Zookbinders photo book - bad experience or not.

He honestly doesnt even know it was zookbinders. He never saw any examples, just bought what was on the price sheet.I would really like to find somewhere else that has these type of photobooks, even if I have to eat up the price a little.I will NEVER go back to zookbinders. If there is NOTHING else out there I will just have to eat up the big cost at vision art.

Hey Jamie... Do you have a vision art account? I'm wondering bc the price isn't THAT much higher than what you're looking for.... and the quality of VA books are amazing. Have you used them before? I'll PM you the price for the book you're requesting. smile.gif

There is a new company http://decoalbum.com/main.html which are the same guys who make flashpalette websites. They just launched the company. I got one of the first albums shipped. They are very close to vision art quality but cheaper [at least with the launch]. If you inquire, mention my name David Quisenberry. I dont get anything and am not associated, but wanted them to know I liked their product.

the fact that their prices are posted openly on their website bothers me.

I didnt notice that. Had not even looked at their website as they are a sponsor in another forum which is where I signed up. Their book doesnt have any company markings, so i dont know how a client would find them if you didnt tell who made them. Personally, that doesnt bother me. You can find the price of Kodak Paper anywhere. My price includes the image which makes the paper worth alot more. Just my 2 cents.

Which one do you have 10, 100 or 1000?The 1000 is in the price range I need but they dont have any photos or description for the 1000. Do you know what the difference between the 10/100 and 1000 are? Thanks for your help!
