On Dec. 29 I shot my Uncle Dave's wedding. Both he and his new wife's spouse passed away recently so this is the second wedding for both of them. It was fun to do this wedding, they did it very classily both respecting their former partners. It was good for me to shoot a wedding that wasn't a bunch of youngsters. I did some tasteful retouching on these and would like to know what you think.









Joy's first marriage took place when she was 18. This is her first wedding dress.

Really beautiful! I especially *love* the dress image. And oh my lord!!! Did she really wear the same dress she wore at 18, or did you mean that this is her first wedding dress because she didn't have one for her first wedding??

Great shots John! Our last two weddings were 2nd marriages, and the one next weekend is a 2nd marriage (check the blog if interested). We have so far found that the photography needed is about the same as any wedding, although some traditions may be bypassed. Being older ourselves (and on our 2nd marriage) we relate quite easily to these couples and have had a blast at all of them!

I did one last summer for a couple in their 60's. It was great! You did a fabulous job!

Whoops. I meant that her parents didn't get her a wedding dress for her first wedding. She was so excited about her dress, it was really fun to see. Although she was in quite good shape. She is very athletic and rocks at tennis.

well, either way she was one hot bride, especially to not be 18!
