Hi. I am half way through my first year doing children and family portraiture. I am going to be living in the Seattle area for the next 7 months, and then moving back to my hometown. I just saw a post from Me Ra about her intro kit, and I think some of the forms and whatnot would be helpful. I am skeptical about how I spend my money on this business, and so I am wondering if anyone else on here as purchased this, and if so what you thought.
Thanks!
Mildred

What do you really want to buy or have these forms do for you? I have purchased some forms on line (because I did not wnat to think}I have also bought books on letter writing and have found forms that were almost copies of these letters with a few modifications. I thnk that some purchases are more because we think that if we use what some other successfull photographer is using it will transfer. Many people will buy spa memberships the first of the year trying to buy weight loss.... even if you purchase the forms you will still have to modify them for your use some work is still required.
I know you did not ask for all of this.....end of year reflections

Hi Miranda,
I don't have this, but I did see these first hand at Me Ra's workshop.
She's included some great organizational tools in these. These are things that you could probably come up with on your own in time, but they're all laid out for you in her kits. They'll help you get up to speed fast with the portrait side of things. Brian's excel worksheet is VERY comprehensive, and I'm sure you'll find that the info is also useful to your wedding side of the business.
