Hi all,

I am trying out the YSI demo, hoping to buy it during this weekend.

So far I like it, but there is something I am unable to try, due to the limitations of the demo.

Can someone tell me if YSI is able to split a dual page template at the moment of the export? I like to create Dual Pages, but my LAB requires individual JPG files.

Best Regards,

I think you can. But I am sure you can in Yervant's Page Galley (which is what I use). Either choice is great.

If I understand your question, you want to lay out your album pages in two page spreads, but have them cut into individual pages, correct?

YSI won't do it, but I do it in Photoshop. You can write an action that will do it for you

I think what he means is that when you export your full spread, let say a 10x20, to PS, if there is a way that you can select that it will export the spread as two 10x10 instead of a full spread that you have to split in PS later.

That's what I thought. I don't know of any way in YSI to do it, but when we do that I'll run an action in PS to do it. I don't really have to worry about it too much as with Graphi we're uploading full spreads so our problem is the other way around. When we design separate pages, I need to combine them in PS to the full spread. Actions rock!
