Time to sell some items and pay taxes (and then buy new toys as the bookings begin to flow in...)

Two items I'd like to sell:
Canon 10d converted to IR. This is a fun camera that produces some really neat/fun results! (Digital IR is actually far more sensitive to the infrared spectrum than film IR, allowing for some very beautiful images)

I'm really not sure of the value of a converted 10d. It looks like straight 10d's are selling for about $325 on ebay. The cost of having a camera professionally converted to IR is $350.

Would $600 be fair? anyone interested?

Then, I have my 24mm TS/Tilt Shift lens. I bought this lens a few months back. It's really fun to shoot with, but I am constantly forgetting to use it. So I can't afford to have it sitting in my camera bag.

$950.

Drop me an email at tim at halberg photographers dot com if you're interested.

hm... I've been wanting one for a while, but was going to convert my rebel.... I'm thinking about it. smile.gif Do you have any images taken with it? You can email them to me at jessicamesser@aol.com if you don't feel like resizing and posting. smile.gif

quick question.... was it mostly overcast that day or was it full sun on the trees and mountains?
Tim Halberg
I'm thinking it was mostly overcast/cloudy for the Yosemite pictures. I wish I had time right now to cruise back and grab more pictures from weddings...

nah...its cool. I figured it was prob cloudy from the way the pix looked... I just wasn't seeing that VIVID white that you get from IR film. I'm very interested in this. I think I might just have to take you up on it.

When you had it converted did they calibrate it to a specific lens? It seems when I read up on this, you had to include the lens you intended to use on it. I know when I shot IR film, I had to use a red filter and focus differently than normal.... Do you still do this with the digital IR? If so, is the lens included?
