So I'm super excited because tomorrow I'm meeting up with a friend from high school to help teach him about photography. Kinda a mini-workshop! I hardly feel qualified, but he came to me and said he really admired my work and wanted to learn how to take better portraits. Words can't describe how excited I am about teaching! I'd never considered it really, but I can't wait to pass on all the things people have helped me with.

We have a "model" (another friend from high school) and we're shooting in downtown Lexington. He has a Canon 40D and a few lenses, I'm not sure exactly what. I think he's pretty familiar with how his camera works, and I think our focus is going to be on more artsy "fashion" type pictures than traditional portraits.

I know this is really broad, but does anyone have some ideas of some overall concepts I should hit? I have some ideas of my own but I'd love some input from you all too. Kinda a quick crash course on shooting.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for my rambling I'm just super excited!
