"When the lion is hungry he eats. When the eagle has thirst he drinks. Lest they act, both will perish.
I hunger for success. I thirst for happiness and peace of mind. Lest I act I will perish in life of failure, misery, and sleepless nights.
I will command, and I will obey mine own command.
I will act now.
Success will not wait. If I delay she will become betrothed to another and lost to me forever.
This is the time. This is the place. I am the man.
I will act now."
This is from the book "The Greatest Salesman in the World" by OG Mandino. I just finished the book. When I read this portion of the book I thought about OSP and thought about how these paragraphs might bless someone on OSP.
If you have read the book, I would love your input. If you haven't read it, find a copy today. You are likely to find it at your local library or Amazon. I found it at my church library. I'm glad I did. This one book has the potential to change someone's entire outlook on how they view things. The lessons taught in the book have no experation date. The book is 40 years old!
So I would like your thoughts. What do you think about these paragraphs? Will you act now?
