I am having horizontal banding with my Epson R1800, I ran all the necessary utilities and it's still happening. Any Ideas?

Have you had the printer for a long time? I had this issue on my old Epson printer and checked through their tutorials online and nothing worked and in the end it was the printer head or something and it wasn't worth having it replaced. I do remember finding some articles online though so hunt around and maybe you'll find something to resolve the problem.

Sounds like the head needs cleaning... beyond what the software can do. Still under warranty?
