Well, actually, they are 5 antique hubcabs off of ancient farm wagons, but who's counting??

Five golden rings vexed me, because I couldn't really decide how to portray 5 rings with children and not make it look cheesy or materialistic... let me know if this hits the mark! smile.gif











...and just so ya'll don't think the child sits around looking pensive and pouty all the time:



OK, one more... no rings in this shot, it was just while she was pulling down her braids when we added the yellow skirt...

These are sweet...the first and the last are my favorite. Really, how do you get your girls to sit and look so cute? For me, the hardest to photograph are my own kiddos.

gorgeous!! as always. smile.gif you've got such a wonderful style, and I think you really pulled off "5 golden rings" while maintaining that rustic, old world romance, classic sensibility. i agree, gold would have appeared to flashy to fit with the theme. love how you solved it!!

wow! first of all your daughter is so gorgeous! those freckles and the red hair --- love love love it! I adore the 12 days of Christmas project--you are definitely pulling it off very well with your awesome style.
The 3rd and the last are my favorites!

I have loved all of this series, but I LOVE the softness of these pictures (her hair and emotion) that contrasts with hardness of the rings. Love these the mostest!

I REALY love the project.

I am very jealous you have a child that will sit for photos smile.gif

So, after all that lovin' - I'd really like to see the tiniest, teeniest bit of gold on the rings. When I first opened it up, even knowing the subject, I didn't know what I was looking at (theme wise).

On th 5th day of Christmas my true love sent to me 5 antique hubcaps, 4 steering wheels , 3 bent fenders, 2 gear levers and a punctured three year old tyre.

I can't wait for day six.

I think it might catch on Carrie, lovely pics
