Man, oh man, this family was so good looking and EASY to photograph. No melt downs, everyone was really accomodating to anything I suggested and plus, their house was sooooo kick ass. Definitely not a normal Utah looking house especially for the town of Provo. It is the first family session I have done mainly on 35mm...usually it is a lot slower with the MF cameras etc but I really like the look and feel and how fast I was able to get what I wanted.

You can see what I am talking about HERE.

Very nice work Juan!

Dude, I think I've had dinner with her before (like a year ago, it was Carrabba's and she knows people I know... they moved back here from CA and her hubby produced someone like Counting Crows or something). You and I are having a whole heckuva lot of coincedences laughing.gif

Left blog luvin' saying that these are AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL family images that belong in the Martha S mag. LOVE the pics of the boys, the bike in front of the house, the interior, mom's close-up and the baby's tongue with the shopping cart.

ROCK ON, JON!

Yeah, he used to be in this band that was pretty big in the Provo scene but they all moved on and are now defunct. He owns a recording studio now (which is in that amazing home) and produces a lot of local stuff. Not sure about the Counting Crows thing but I would not doubt it.Yeah, how in the world did we never meet? It seems we both know all the same people. So strange...ps...when that aforementioned band was alive and kicking they won this $250k contract but never did anything with it as the label went under (surprise). but you can listen to the track they won with HERE.

Sweet tunes; thanks for the linkies. The 250k deal going south isn't uncommon (we're in the midst of a deal gone bad, grr).

We met at Java Joe's downtown SLC when you stopped by to catch Zack Arias with your wife on your way out of the country... plus I bought those prints of that wedding with the wedding dress with red laces up the back and Kate Benson told me about you from your college days wink.gif We go WAY back LOL.
