Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share some from my most recent engagement session. I'm trying to get myself to share more and get different opinions on my work, good or bad! These two were amazing, and sooo in love! We had a blast!

And a few more on the blog, which could use some serious lovin' if anyone has some time! smile.gif

Many thanks!!

I think you are doing a great job. I would try to pay a little more attention to setting up your shots. Engagement sessions are alot more relaxed so take the time to look at the back ground. Love the heart wall. the guy is head is covering most of the pink heart and it is kind of distracting to me. You could of moved them a little bit to the left. It's an easy fix on photoshop, so no worries there. Just my two cents. Great job.

I was thinking the same thing! Not being a pro at backgrounds myself, I don't notice this kind of stuff until I get it on the computer and it's too late. I think they could've been moved to the right so the heart was behind her head (in case of cropping, as the higher ones would get lost). Cute pics!

I really like #2.
#4 the back of her head and bricks to the left of her head are in focus but his face isn't, so my eye is drawn to the bricks before his face.

Thanks for all your replies! Sorry it took me so long to come back to this, school has been a killer this week!

Thank you for pointing this out! I get so involved with the subjects that I don't even notice things like this yet. Thank you for pointing out another area I can grow. (For example, for awhile, I had a few shoots where I was cutting off hands and feet, never noticed until someone pointed it out, and now I'm much better at that without having to think about it!)

Ah ha. Good point. I took several at that spot, I'll go back through and see if I can find one that the focus is more appropriate on!

Edited to add: the heart wall was way fun! But I also ran into another background issue haha. I didn't look at the whole thing, but took some wider shots of them on that wall, only to find this when I pulled them up for editing:

I'm not sure if it is or not...but that sure looks like underwear painted on the wall to me haha.
