Full Version: just finished revamping macisaguy.com!
OpenSourcePhoto > Who We Are :-) > All about You :-)
macisaguy
i just revamped the layout for my site. and i also added new photos (and took down old ones) from the various galleries. as well as adding two new galleries (portraits and weddings).

any feedback you have would be great. let me know if you think any of the images aren't really 'portfolio worthy', or if you find any bugs, or whether or noth you think the site works as a whole.

i can't afford a web designer, and so have to do it myself using a 'borrowed' copy of dreamweaver and the leet html skills i picked up back in college.

i tried to make it more professional than it was before.

so take a look and let me know what you think. it'd be a really huge help. thanks so much.

The first thing I did was went to your ABOUT MAC section... couldn't get past the you-know-what laughing.gif

Okay. I'm back. I am luvn' your bio but would like toppings and situations not to be hyphened (soft return: as, much about (maybe even web) then some more of the next line to have enough on the last line that it doesn't look odd... like it does now with "ations"). Might want to mention where you're located and/or where you'd travel to for photography. How 'bout a phone #... unless you just want emails.

Awwwwwe... then your simple life pic is my fav wink.gif Nerds ROCK!

Okay. I'm back again. In the portraits gallery I don't think you should use that image first. Instead I'd like to see a stronger image that draws me in to see more... like the 2nd pic of the red/white girls telling a secret, the 3rd pic of the cutie smiling on the step or the 2nd to last of the couple.

In the weddings gallery I think that image isn't strong enough to make me interested in coming into that space. I could see the 4th picture with the bride smiling as her groom gives her a big smooch - that has emotion and fun which draws me in.

Luvn' the live music image.

Overall, I really like the simplicity of it all... the text is obvious and easy to read (I'm a fan of the typewriter fonts - see my site if you doubt) and the image pages are easy to navigate/understand. It's clean and simple, yet complex... carbohydrates (with all the pizza talk) laughing.gif
