I was playing around with my blogger blog last night and i had no idea that you could pick a template then customize the colors, add elements, import your own header...

I thought you could only edit using HTML (which is rough for me smile.gif ). I was SO excited to play around.

I changed my blog from this:

to this:

http://www.ashleyphoto.blogspot.com

and it was super easy!

I will try to explain so that it makes sense...

Once you're logged in to blogger you want to go to 'layout' -- for me, this brings me to a whole new screen then was ever there before.

from here you can choose "pick new template" to have a starting off point (I think I picked #565). From there, you can click back to page elements and add new things, rearrange, and upload a custom header. I made my header in photoshop, you can upload it from your computer or a url just by clicking "edit" on the header section" -- you can also edit lots of other options on this page

then you go to the "fonts and colors" tab and customize to fit your branding or whatever -- you can change backgrounds, text colors, fonts and font sizes, etc here.

before you make any drastic changes id recommend going to the html tab copy and pasting your current html to somewhere safe just in case you.

You can 'preview' along the way to make sure its looking good. Hope that made some sense! Feel free to ask me questions if it didn't smile.gif

Invite sent! I just made a new page today for business only! My old biz one turned into my personal life, LOL. I have yet to post my pics but I love the way yours are laid out -- fantastic! Great new blog as well. You are on a roll!!!

Bummer. When I go to layout it has the same screen as I've always had and the templates are names, not numbers. Guess I'll just have to stick with mine for now.

Thanks for the directions!
