Denver Area Photographers:

I have a unique request. I have a friend who has requested a Denver Area Photographer, preferably male, to mentor a 14 year old hispanic boy named AJ. My friend has been mentor to his older sister for 7 years and has had amazing results - they are a very artistic family, just short on money, food, love, and good male role models! Here's a slideshow of my friend and the two teenagers, Alex & AJ:

I would be happy to give you more details if you just email me! It could be a temporary relationship, but right now AJ is looking to go into photography - hopefully landscape photography.

Kay I'll put the word out to the few male photographers I know. This is an important opportunity that I hope someone takes advantage of!

Thanks Kristy! So far I have one female photographer who said she would be interested if no men respond. But I think he could use the male role model.

A single mom with 5 kids in a one bedroom apartment and little money for food. It breaks my heart! But my friend has made huge progress with AJ's sister - she's in college now and has really become an amazing young woman! So he has some good women role models.....just needs that right male energy!

Kay.....our LUMU! Shoot-shops will be in Colorado in March...he's welcome to come hang out with me and our crew (all guys) all day for no charge. He'll be fed and well taken care of....could probably learn A LOT in one day.

Nick: That's a great idea - looks like the shoot is in Rifle, right?

Yup....Rifle Park State Park.....I think he would learn A LOT in one day...talking with 50 other photographers as well as following us around....just let me know what you decide....there's time still....
