Full Version: Help...blu says I'm live

So....when I log into www.jenniferimages.ca I see my old site. Blu says I'm live and I've even recieved a client inquiry form...so I'm wondering if anyone knows why this might be happening?
I've emailed them..but they take quite some time to get back to me. I seem to recall something about clearing a cache, and I'm not sure if that's what i need to do, but I don't remember how.
Also, I tried clearing my temporary internet folder, and it didn't work.

Any ideas.
Does anyone else see my old site (photo with a couple in the river) or do you all see the new blu site with the slide show?

its a long explanation or a really short one, i can't remember, but everyone's cache has to clear in order to view the new site - it always takes a few tries, but eventually it will show up - you are live. dont worry.

I am seeing an absolutely beautiful blu site!

Did you clear your cookies? Also maybe your cache. That might help!

I see the new site. Try hitting "control + F5" in your browser for a cache refresh.

Yeah trying clearing the cache that should fix it up!

Go to tools at the top of your page and then click clear private data. Make sure to check all except the saved passwords(this will keep your saved passwords) and this should do the trick.

Jennifer, I just went through this for the 5th time since I've built that many sites with their templates. It just takes up to 72 hours to "propagate" and get through to everyone's cache systems. It is a good idea to clear yours as someone else mentioned. Just give it another day or so, and you'll be surprised! I know it will be great for you!

Thanks Carole. I think you're right about this. I will just have to be patient (something I'm not very good at!!)I do recall reading something about 72 hours to propagate, but I didn't really know what that meant.

jennifer.... Open internet explorer and go to tools. Then to internet options. Delete files and cookies. See if that does it. are you using aol? I do and have that issue as well. This won't work for AOL. But tomorrow...like magic..you'll see your site.

Jen,

That's common for flash files such as your old and new site. After deleting all temporary files using internet Options in IE, perhaps just restart the browser..

The Blu website works BTW
