I purchased the NicholeV action & texture set today because I wanted to take a stab at this whole "texture" style of editing. I love her actions, and how much she explains to you. It was kind of fun to play around, and mix and match things.
What do you think?

Very nice! Your style of shots are actually perfect for textures, so it will be fun to see what you come up with. And I really like that you use the textures on the picture as an accent and don't let it control your picture like we see too often, you keep your subject clear and the background just blends. Great job.

I'm usually not a huge fan of textures unless they're real...like the photo is printed on wood or something bizarre. BUT - I really think these photos look great with textures added. I'd definitely keep it up.

Your first one is really probably the best use of texture someon can do. Really sets a mood to the picture rather than just being a bad picture that needs texture to make it artistic. Texture is great when it blends with the textures already there, and it looks like you did that with her sweater.
Great job!

Thanks for all the comments everyone!!! I used her "urban action" set, plus some actions from her color & B&W sets for each image. I did some tweaking of course, but that's about it!!
