I haven't shared in a while and I got to shoot a really nice small intimate wedding in Yosemite over Thanksgiving weekend, so I thought I'd share a few images. Claire and Mike wanted to do a day before shoot with me in the Valley, and we had so much fun! Yosemite is incredible this time of year and so peaceful. It was a treat to be there!

Yosemite was so pretty this weekend. Its almost December, yet it was so warm in the sun. It's such a treat to spend time on the park this time of year.

Someone else shared some shots from Yosmite awhile back and I just love it because it has been about 6 years since I went there but seems like yesterday when I see pictures.

These are all gorgeous Shawn. Love the second image you posted. You are SOOOO lucky to shoot so regularly in such an amazing location

Shawn- you know that I ALWAYS love your work! We take our family pictures every year- usually in September, so I think next year (september 2008) We are going to go back home (to Clovis) and then drive up there for our family shoot- hopefully, I will still know you then and you can do it for us.

Nice shots. What I like is it appears that you avoided doing the cliche Yosemite shots with Half Dome, El Capitan, or the Chapel in the background. Having visited there for the first time this year (Twice, once in August and then in October.) I think I would have been tempted to include all those in my shots. I think you captured some of the natural beauty of the area.
