So as photographers, should we insure our money making index finger??

I just spliced mine open (opening a water jug for goodness sakes-- not even something *that* exciting!) -- blood everywhere. It's been first aided and bandaged up and now "the bird finger" is taking over the index's editing and typing duties while recooperating. Hope it is better for Saturaday's shoot.

Just made me wonder- insurance necassary?

actually, I've given serious thought to insuring my eyes. That's what a photographer needs the most.

I've always wondered about my index fingers and eyes too. Glad to know I'm not weird and the only one. LOL

There are foot and hand models that have million dollar policies on their feet or hands! I would love to call a company and ask about a policy like that, just for kicks. HA

hah! Yeah! I would hate to have to go back and do shutter button focusing again!

When I was in the hospital a few weeks ago and they were trying to do an IV on my right arm, I told them they better be careful because that is my camera carrying arm!

The nurse looked at me like I was NUTS. But out of my 5 IV sticks, only one was in my right arm. All the rest were in the left. ;-)

I've also considered insurance on my eyes and my hand. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Can't you insure practically ANYTHING? Would imagine it's just an issue of how much it'd cost. Hmm.
