What exactly do I need to do to prepare a file for a client? I've read about "stripping" electronic watermarks and removing certain copyright data, but how do I do this?
I'm burning high res jpegs from raw files that have been processed and saved as jpegs.

You can just burn a DVD for your client...really nothing is required to prep the JPEG's.
Are you trying to ADD a copyright or watermark? Maybe I don't understand the question...

Charles,
That is what I thought about a jpeg, but just wanted to make sure. I'm assuming then what I keep coming across is regarding burning the raw files - removing certain data.
I do not want to add a watermark or copyright, I just want to make sure that the client does not encounter any problems when going to print.
Thanks!

We include a written release the rare times we give the digital negatives. That is what most places will require them to have.

Cool! I'm sure there is a lot of fancy stuff you can do with the RAW file/metadata, but honestly, who has the time! :-)
With the JPEG's, just burn & go!
