We are using showit to show our album designs to clients. I know I've seen it before, and I was wondering if there was a way to have a line down the middle of the frame in background of the page to show where the page split is.
does anyone know how to do this?

Not that I know of. Gary Fong has a version of ShowIt that is for album preview. It has an overlay that makes it look like an album. I tried it, but like to stick with ShowIt. Since we use Graphi the albums spreads lie flat so we don't have to worry about the lines. I bet you could write an action that would add a black line down the center to mimic a center line.
Perhaps someone else will have a different or better suggestion.

We worked on this for a while as well. I'll see if we can come up with a template that would work, but it'll only be for square albums since that is the only format that we design. You can see what we did on the Designs page at

http://www.jeffersontoddalbums.comThanks JT that's awesome! We design only square albums as well, so the square template would be perfect. Thanks so much!
