Full Version: LR web gallery is putting photos in the wrong order...
OpenSourcePhoto > Digital Photography > Post Processing > Lightroom

anyone have any idea why, after i've spent an hour moving images around so that they make more sense (that maybe makes no sense, but bear with me...), then i go to the web module to put up the gallery, it reorders by capture time??? the images on the bottom bar thingy are still in the right order, but the actual gallery switches them up.

i reordered them, exported & renamed them and reimported. after the reimport, the default was sort by capture time in the library, so i switched it to file name. every other module followed course, but the web module's marching to a different drummer.

i tried to search through the help, but couldn't really find anything. my brain is pretty tired right now, so i don't know if i'm just not coming up with the right wording to find what i need...

Hey, did you put it as a collection and then sort by user order. I find that the user order is only available when saved as a collection, but have had this happen to me once before and havn't fixed it yet.

i finally figured it out...

i had selected the entire set of images before switching to the web module (not sure why... ). after i gave up and shut the computer down, i went back to it later and didn't select them all. i had no problem.

anyway, just thought i'd update.
