Let me know what you think of these images on my blog!

Here's the most dramatic...
Lucky Red Hen
What a beautiful enlargement!!! I love that you braved the weather and got great shots. The polka dotted window of them is my fav (I'm a fan of dots) but I also like the red structure pics. Not a fan of that blue tone (skin looks pretty bad) and like the ones in that series in color better. Thanks for showing!

Gotta love the Sculpture Park!

Cory, this is a great series that really captures what Seattle is like in the fall. I adore the playfulness of them, and the interaction between this couple is fabulous. smile.gif

The only one I didn't love was the one on the rocks with the hard off camera lighting from the left (their right). Loved the pose, loved the drama of the background--the extra kick of light in this case just didn't do it for me.

awesome cory as usual. love your work man!

Sir Cory, beautiful work! I'm not a huge fan of the blue hued in one of the top images though. It is such a solid image but i think the blue hue it makes it have a bit of a "chinsy" factor, IMO.
Love the polka dot wall image and your use of off camera lighting in a couple of these... especially in the last image.
I'm a fan of dramatic lighting that can be viewed by some as "harsh" so I dug the one a few pictures above as well with the light coming in from their right. Great great Cory. Have a fat turkey day!

Hey guys,
Thanks for looking! It was my first time at the sculpture park. The security guards were all over the place and told us what we were doing wrong a couple times! When they came up, I was totally expecting to get kicked out, but he just made me move my lightstand. Also, evidently you're not supposed to touch the rusty pieces of metal.

I accidentally changed the wb on the blue image to "tungsten" and thought, hmmm that's interesting. I wonder if anyone else will like it? Now I know!

I wanted an umbrella for flash on the rocks shot, but it would have flown away like a kite! I liked it as it, but my wife wasn't so sure. Again, I was looking for reactions on that one. Split decision so far!

Thanks for all the compliments, guys!

I agree with Sarah on that one blue tinted image. I love #6, 8, 9, 10, & 12. When I #11 saw your post on the blog this morning I immediately thought, "OH NO, THEY'RE TOUCHING IT!!" I have shot there before and it is too nerve wracking for me. I can't believe how many Seattle photographers shoot there. The guards were all over me. You are brave to bring a light with you!

Great work, I love to see Seattle photographers work with the weather so successfully. That series 6-10 really shows how great this couple are!!

I had the same reaction--"uh oh, he's leaning on it!"--but I had no issues at all with an engagement session there last month. I think I saw just one guard the whole time, and he didn't come near us. Granted--didn't bring any off camera lighting with me. smile.gif It was an amazingly sunny day & the park was really full of people, so maybe they were too busy to bother with me?

And Cory, just to mess the voting up further...I actually LIKE the blue tone. laughing.gif

Hey Tish,
Thanks for muddying the waters so beautifully! laughing.gif

Candy, thank for the compliment. Seattle is a beautiful city that I love. I can't imagine living anywhere else!
