Does anyone know how to copy email messages and import them from one computer to another? I just got a new MacBook Pro and I'd like to keep some emails on it from my iMac just so when I'm travelling I don't lose messages and can still keep the conversation going. Can someone help me out with this?

You may want to run the Apple Migration or Setup Assistant. You could also do it manually.

Here's a link from the Apple discussions.

Are you using Apple's mail program or Entourage?

I think a .MAC subscription is right for you! You will have your two MAC Sync (Contacts, eMail, Calendar) for around $79/year...

Agree with a .mac account, automatically synch all your contacts, calendars, mail messages, safari settings, etc across all your mac computers. EASY!

.mac doesn't actually copy the messages from one computer to the other... much to most .mac users' chagrin.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken though.

Try this: In Mail go to Mailbox> Archive Mailbox and save it to an external hard drive or to the other Mac if they're networked.

Then Import it. File>Import Mailboxes
