On my typepad blog that is. Should I just select a layout that does not have three columns? It seems busy to me..any thoughts?

Hi Lisa! I like the fresh feeling of your blog! The colors are really cool!
As weird as it might sound, I get the feeling of walking in Bed, Bath and Beyond and having all the clean, fresh aromas around...
As far as layout, I can see what you mean by busy... Thats alot of information on the main page, but then again, you are talking about more topics rather than just photography... I dunno Lisa, I kinda dig it.
Heck.. I have always liked your blog!

There will be no more moving! I have had to start over now for the third time....but keep on keepin' on right?

I appreciate you taking a look!

No prob Lisa! I have a BAD habit of overthinking things also. It's taken me about 6 months to comeup with a "simple" blog design that I am comfortable with. My buddy Mark kept scolding me and saying that I needed to have a blog/website that described me.
I told him if that was the case, then my blog and site would be so garbled up noone would be able to make any sense of it! rolleyes.gif
Next step... Rip apart my sad little website and make it match the blog.
I just don't have the time to do it!! ugh.
Do you have access to edit your HTML with typepad to stretch your layout?
LisaC
I am laughing here by myself as I am reading your post laughing.gif and then I stopped when you asked me about having access to edit my HTML...hmm, is that under the control panel section? I would LOVE to know how to stretch it and fit more 'stuff'...but my question is this, would stretching it make it hard for those that have smaller monitors to read it? will it fit without having to scroll???

If you design it to fit on the smaller monitors it would look small on the bigger ones though... I made mine sort of "middle of the road" smaller monitors have to scroll a little, but the bigger monitors it fits nicely

HTML is suprizingly easy to understand... If I can read it, ANYone can!!
LisaC
ok, I will go and see if I can make it work...thanks Mike!

Grrr...I am trying to use the custom CSS to widen the page and I have tried all configurations and it only ends up jumbled...any other thoughts?
