I have been getting all kind of children portraits lately, and they have all been the age of 4 and under. That age is so fun and hard to photograph. They have their own agenda. Although I love photographing them, it was refreshing to photograph this 8 year old, who wanted to pose for me. here is some I did this weekend, of course their is more on my blog.

8-year-olds are hilarious!
My own kid that age walked up to me last week, a thick book under her arm, and said, "Mom, I have read that pre-teens are kids ages 8-13, so... I guess I'm a preteen now, right?"

Thanks all for the feedback. It was refreshing to have a child that wants to be photographed. As I said earlier, it has been a crazy run of photogaphing babies and children under 4 that presented challanges to be photographed.
