Apparently some law firms are super picky about what and where you can shoot. We almost got put in bracelets.

It was a fun session, take a look.

As always, more at the Juice Stop.

Help me out here..

How would you have gotten arrested for taking pics close to a law firm?

Great shots btw.

Good shots. I like the cantaloupe here smile.gif I assume the problem was that you were treading close to being on private property or something??
Mark T.
*On* private property is too close. Other than that get as close as you want, right?

What was the deal here?

love that first shot. sneaking around on private property is always worth an awesome shot in my book. smile.gif

It ends up that a friend of a friend works at the firm and says that there are a couple security guards with too much time on their hands. Not sure why that's funny to them, but it's not the first time we have gotten kicked out of private property that didn't really have 'defined' boundaries.

Seemed pretty legit when it happened though.

Excellent shots! Worth the risk- I concur!!!

Great stuff and funny story. I've been kicked out of more places than I can count. Flash a large camera on a Sunday and you can bet it's the most exciting thing to happen to the rent-a-cop all month. Last summer I was shooting outside the Wells Fargo corporate building - downtown on a Sunday afternoon. Just posed them on some brick work outside the building, shot for less than 1 minute, moved along, and the rentacop actually came down the block to find us and scold us. "whatever dude".

I do find now that if you know the name of someone who manages the property - just throw the name out "I spoke to so and so last Thursday, she said it would be fine as long as we stayed outside such and such and weren't here for more than an hour" - that's gotten me the "uh..... oh....... okay......" on two occasions.

Good luck. biggrin.gif

Funny... I was doing a product shoot at a business park and have the same identical story!!! I have a friend who works in the building and asked him about it and he nearly lost his soda through his nose.

I guess those guys like to exercise their (limited) authority!

I'm glad that you didn't get arrested. And you got some amazing shots, I really like the first and second ones. Thanks for sharing the story and pictures with everyone.

Beautiful, beautiful job!!!!!

In the last month, I've gotten kicked out of a mall, St Louis Union Station, a little small-town museum, a hotel, and have been followed around a couple downtown areas by security-type people. Oh, and I was almost not let on the Metrolink in St. Louis because there was a group of 8 photographers and three models in wedding dresses. Hmm...

I got some killer pics from all of those, though! smile.gif
