Hey everyone!

I've just started a new way of making my personal entries onto my blog. From here on out, every entry I make that is not wedding related, will be a letter to my as of yet unborn daughter. (She'll be here in a week...and we're pretty sure shes a girl! laughing.gif). I thought this would be a great way for me to show who I am not just to her but perspective clients as well. I've posted my first letter today and would appreciate any love you can give!

Love received will have love returned... Promise. thumbsup.gif

What an awesome idea, I know she is going to cherish these letters when she is older. Please let us know when she arrives.

WHat a great Dad you'll be/are!!

We write our daughter letters every year on her birthday and she will get them when she turns 18 or her wedding...we haven't figured out which. She's only 6 though, so we have a ways to go.

Great idea!

Before my son Max was born 6 weeks ago, I started a blog, and purchased

http://www.ourkidslife.com

Its basically a 21 year project. We plan to update it with every important moment, first words, first steps, first day of school etc. The blog posts are setup like letters basically. Says Dear Max.....cool stuff! Before we knew if it was a boy/girl...the posts read.....Dear Kid...lol..

Anyways, when he is 21, I'll finally tell him about it. Then he'll have 21 years of blog posts to read (providing blogger is still around by then) and according to my calculations, he'll have over 35,000 photos to look at of him growing up!

Thanks so much for the vote of support. Some had told me that this was cheesy... funny though as my friends that told me not to don't have children or ever want any. unsure.gif

Nick, I love that idea! That is so amazing! I was thinking of putting it in a separate blog altogether but figured if I make my personal entries as a separate category, I'll be able to filter it and give it to her when she's much older. I was thinking maybe her wedding day. thumbsup.gif

Anyhow, quick update on my wife and soon to arrive baby. Due to a medical condition my wife has, the doctor has recommended inducing labor prior to her due date. So with this, our little daughter may be joining us sooner rather than later. I'm so scared and yet so happy and excited all at once... It's making my head spin!
