Hey All,

Gary Fong says, "how are you going to sell what the client can't see?" With that thought in mind, I'm interested in purchasing Gary Fong's Album Showcase.

Has anyone tried it? Is it worth it buying? Is there something out there that is better?

Do tell.

Thanks.

I bought this a year ago and I use it to show all my albums, but i also use it to make slide shows. See one here on my blog.

It's a derivation of ShowIt Web version 1 (ish). I wish Album Designer would evolve right along with ShowIt Web version 2.x -- but it hasn't. (Gary -- stop designing these puffy little things for cheap cameras and get back to further development on your sotware products!)

I think Kevin Swan found a way to modify certain files in SI-Web 2.x to give the slideshows that album page look -- can anyone provide that link or feedback on how that's done?

+1 on that

Use it ALL the time....super quick and easy! And yeah...he needs to update the dang software instead of breaking into the amateur photo market and yapping about politics!

It's just ShowIt Web. Except the old version that's not as cool as the new one. I have no idea why he's even selling it. $50 more gets you ShowIt Web Pro.
