i have been searching everywhere for something different for my DVDs - nothing even remotely resembled what i wanted. so with some help from the wonderful people here - i was referred to a post re the same thing - and julie steiskel (sorry i know i didnt spell it right) had shown us her template for her photo packing, etc. so here is where my idea is borne from.

this is the first draft so know it is not the finished product, but i am really happy with it and i think it will compliment the dvd really nicely.

i may even incorporate this into my print packaging as well!

I love it!

What do you use for the label on your cd?

But I love the overall look, great job!

very cool - i love the slick marketing & packaging people are doing now - this rocks.

thanks! luckily my husband works at an advertising agency and they have these really great cd/dvd printers so its printed directly onto the disc.

that's just it, its not a box, julie showed her 'template' pochette and i got some heavy duty construction paper (its much much heavier than construction paper) and created my template to hold my dvd - i outlined a dvd case then created the flaps and then created slots for ribbon. i think it adds a special touch.

So, this means 1) I have to do an actual search on OSP (heavens me) and 2) put the thing together myself (now, just wait one second...)

In all seriousness...thanks...and I agree...it adds something special for them!

Clever lady! It looks very pretty! I really like the pink & black together although at first glance I thought your logo was playboy bunny ears!! blink.gif It's been a long day!

The link didn't work.... try this instead.

Tami, any chance of getting the template Julie sent you?!
the real tami
she didnt send me a template, i just looked at hers and worked it out on my own.

you dont know how long i have been searching for something that i felt would leave an impression - i'm really having a tough time with finding stuff taht is affordable and that says it comes from me. finding packaging over here that is nice and impressionable is tough, and if you do find it, its not affordable.

i'm really thinking of making these for my prints too and my mini books.
