Anybody's using Quantum's T5d with FreeXwire system for wireless TTL???

I own three T2 models, but now want to buy a T5d and a FreeXwire set tu use wireless QTTL. And I have so many questions ...

Did anyone ever used QTTL? Any suggestions, experiences with?

What's the difference between models T5d and T5d-R??

I know Quantum's website, but it really isn't much helpful in answering detailed questions about the system ... even for a german guy like me :-)

Thanks a lot.

No Quantum folks up here?

If you're shooting TTL exclusively, they may be worth it for you. If you're comfortable shooting manual flash, you can save a lot of money with a less expensive unit.

Thanks, Shane.

I know, I use 3 T2 with PWs and Sekonic L-358 in manual mode. And I would like to know if QTTL really works and if it's worth the extra money ...

I am absolutely satisfied with the manual exposure, but in some cases, wireless TTL would be an advantage (receptions, where it is hard to meter the light manually ...)

Thanks
