dana sanders told me i had to read this book, so i said "okay." the book starts out in story form, and continues with plenty of practical application, head knowledge, and even some more story. the section i am currently reading discusses marketing, and makes an interesting point:
"Marketing has always been, and will always be, about the concrete. The concrete customer, the concrete trading zone, the concrete deliverable... the more concrete it* is, the better the franchise"
*the "it" he talks about refers to is the foundation of marketing, which rests in knowing what differentiate's one's company from every other out there.
