This weekend I have a wedding for a couple from California that booked me over the phone for their St. Louis wedding. We arranged to do their pressed-for-time e-session tonight...2 days before the wedding. As luck turns sometimes...it rained off and on most of the day and it was raining when we met to do their session in a local park. We changed plans, moved on to another local park that had some good overhangs as part of some of the park buildings.

THIS GROOM TOTALLY REMINDS ME OF NATHAN HOLRITZ! I mean he looks so much like him (minus the facial hair)...but the eerie thing is that he sounds just like Nathan...and even has similar mannerisms!! It was a trip to shoot this session. I kept waiting for him to bust out a Nikon and start shooting with me.





(While shooting I ran into good friend / fellow OSPer Jennifer Henneberry -- CL Park -- who said we are the only photographers crazy enough to be shooting in the rain on this early evening...always fun running into my OSP friends!)

Has anyone else shot pictures of clients that looked like fellow OSPers?

It WAS on Tuesday. We learned a lot about the awesome, awesome studio management software that Andrew and the LaCour team developed...and we drank all of of the wine we could find at Pam's studio.

Yeah, I shot most of this year with my live-in 2nd shooter (a/k/a Mrs. W).

But...tomorrow is my last wedding of the season...if you have any big fat Catholic weddings in old churches left this year...let me know.
