This may be too personal for others to share, but if you don't mind sharing, just wondering what national bank you are using, if you're happy with their services like small business accounts and of course personal accounts....or do you use two different banks? How about their online banking?

We are using a small FL branch bank and we need to switch to a national one due to travels, etc...

Anybody use Bank of America, Chase, Charles Schwab?

OR are local ones better for the above services? We don't know where to start.

Thanks!
Alisha
I'm with Bank of America. After about 5 switches w/ banks I"ve finally setteled w/ them because i'm happy with them! Been w/ them for oh like 5 years or so. I swtiched all my accounts from other banks to bank of america.

I love the on-line banking and e-bills. Very easy! I have 3 or 4 accounts all w/ bank of america. And I can go to fla and use the ATM! and chicago I seen one.

I was with Wells Fargo and then switched to a Credit Union, but recently switched back to Wells because of their online services.

B of A and Wachovia are always a sure - bet (clients of ours too so we know they're 'solid')

I'm partial to Wachovia because they've been killer on the customer service and fixing any problems. So easy to do everything online and you can find them almost everywhere!! (but NYC for some reason)

Wells Fargo... smile.gif Good online stuff is the key!

I have personal and business checking accounts with B of A. Even though I hate corporations bent on global domination (ie. Wal-Mart and Microsoft), I love B of A. The people at my local branch are incredible and I love their online account setup, their "Portfolio" view (which lets you see all of your banking, investment, and frequent flyer accounts on one page), and and their free bill-pay. Good stuff all-around.

I also have multiple savings accounts (and an IRA) with ING Direct and I love them!! They have an incredible deal . . . 3.4% APR, no minimums, no fees, plus they GIVE you $25 when you sign up. It sounds too good to be true but it absolutely isn't! Let me know if you want to sign up, because I can send you a referral link that will put $25 in your new account.

Hopefully this will help you guys wink.gif

All my money is kept under my mattress at home (mostly in ones). Does this help?

Joshua, in order to be of more help, can you give us your address and exactly what room of the house you sleep in? Actually, just tell us where the secret key is hidden. We can figure out the rest. tongue.gif

Thanks everyone. So VERY VERY helpful!!! Looks like we are leaning towards B of A. Thanks for saving us hours of research with hundreds of banks out there, (and other OSPers who may also be looking for a new one).

OK, Bank of America was just on the news tonight!! Just as I was typing my responses, the news was announcing B of A having a "Keep The Change" program. If you buy something that is $3.20, B of A would round it to $4.00 and put 80 cents in your savings account. So in a year it will save around $250....something like that, (not very good with math).

Just thought since so many of you are customers, you would want to know their new program biggrin.gif
