Full Version: Blog redesign
OpenSourcePhoto > World Wide Web > Website Stuff

I've been working on redesigning my sites and finally sat down and worked on the blog...I know, I should probably work on the main site first, but i thought I would get the easy part out of the way.

The best part, I found answers to most of my questions here and gathered ideas from viewing all your sites (Thanks!!). I even picked up ShowIT Pro so I could embed slideshows (first one of my kids) and help DJ pay his electric bill thumbsup.gif

Let me know what you guys think...

looks good, I really like the layout of the blog, very simple

the only thing I don't like about the video in the blog is after it is done it is like blank in that video area, it is too bad there couldn't be an image that comes up after or something kwim. but otherwise great!!! thanks for sharing

It is very simple and I love that! It is easy to let the photos be the focus!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm looking into adding a logo at the start and finish of the slideshows to help with the blank video area...Thanks again!

James,

Are you on a PC? I am sitting on a MAC and opened your blog in Safari and the CSS is not working.

No banner image, the calendar shows all the tim on the left of the page, etc...

Actually, I am on a MAC...but I built this through FireFox. Safari was the only browser I couldn't get this working on. I'm trolling the Wordpress forums for a fix...I guess they've had issues with Safari in the past
Thanks for the heads up thumbsup.gif

No worries. Just wanted you to know. Once you think you have a fix, let me know and I can revisit for you.

Best of luck,
Bill

It now works on Safari!! It wasn't an issue with Safari/Wordpress, the problem was an I D 10 T error I made is the stylesheet. Good thing I wasn't watching DJs webcam...I might not have had the time to work through this rolleyes.gif
