Well I've been lurking for the past few weeks giggling all the while at ya'lls conversations. Started to feel like a real easedropper, so I figured what the hay I'd just introduce myself.

My name is Ruth Rackley, I live in SC about 1/2 way between Columbia and Greenville and about 2 1/2 hrs from Atlanta with the way I drive I've been in the business for 2yrs but still have my fulltime job. My goal is to go full time photography in April but I have my hessitations. I recognize many of you from other sites. I like the happy atmosphere here and look forward to making some new friends.

Hey Ruth, glad to have you here!

I have to admit that so many are joining in the fun from so far away it makes me kinda bummed there aren't more of us in Oregon. It reminds me of one of those commercials for a company that plots a dot on a map for every place they do business. There are always a ton of dots around NY, Chicago, Boston, San Fran, LA....and then there's that one single dot way up in the "other" corner of the map. Know what I mean?

Anyway...have fun here!

I meant to post this in JT's thread about leaving his job and hope you see it JT.
When I left my job Bob Kaussner (whose other quote I have listed as my fav."Do something you will be proud of") said "Jump and the net will appear" it is so true. The net is there so don't cha worry bout a thing.
