This weekend a friend that I grew up with came up to Hume so I could take her engagement photos... I still feel like I'm "winging" it but we had a lot of fun getting these shots. I would love any feedback that you might have to share about them, whether it is something you like and why, or if it is something I can work on and any suggestions you might have. Thanx! ~Karey

I think they are all great, Some look as if it;s for a CD cover. I specially like the one they are looking at the lake. Wonderful work!!!

I think you did a great job. Especially after what you said in your first post about the smile issue. It seems like you brought out the best in him.

I like the one with the grass in the foreground.

I like 'em. I like 'em a lot (said in a Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber kind of way). biggrin.gif You did just fine with the no smile issue too! Good job.

I think you need to work (just a bit) on finding a pretty location. That one looks waaaaay too familar. sad.gif

Great job! I wonder what the lake one would look like in color...If you're going to keep it in B/W maybe make it a bit contrastier?...Just to make it pop a bit more.....just a thought...

Thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it! It's hard to tell when I look at these on my own. It is such a blessing to be a part of a community like this.

Here is the lake one in color so you can compare...

And is this more of what you were thinking, or more contrast?

Haha, I wish I did, that would've saved some time I think!

Cool, I like both the color and b/w. You're heading in the right direction with the contrast....maybe even something a bit more stark to really make the scene jump out a little more....

How about this...

oh yeah that looks way better, I love it! Thank you so much for the help!
