The paper's white, but it's showing up grey in the pictures because it's underexposed. In order to be white, you'll have to have background lights on it.

Sorry if that's not what you're looking for - it was hard to tell what exactly the question was. smile.gif

That helps a lot. I'm getting ready to dive into the seamless paper realm. I really like the grey tones that background has.

Amvona has a nice silver velour-ish type backdrop that I've considered buying several times. I might get it this spring.
Also:
Somebody once told me that they preferred to use light grey backdrops for all hi-key shoots, because the grey reflected less onto their subjects, but still came up white with the right amount of light...

grey backdrops are reallly nice because you CAN turn them any color you want - white, or use gels to color them, and they don't reflect like crazy as carrie said.
