I need a new monitor for my Windows PC. Does anyone have the LaCie 319 19" LCD because it looks like a nice display? It is really hard to find a nice CRT anymore because most are going to LCD. I would just like to have a nice monitor that will give me accurate color for under $800. I am using a monaco OPTIX xr for calibrating profiling my display now but I thank I have gotten my use out of this old Gateway monitor and it is time to step up. I just built a new fast PC with a new video card and I am ready to go with a new editing work flow monitor and any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Greg,

I have the LaCie 319 and I like it a lot. The colors are great, and it comes with its own calibration hardware and software.

19 inches is about the bottom limit of screen size I'd be comfortable with, and I'm drooling over that Apple 30" cinema display but until I happen to get a $2500 tip at a wedding, I'll keep using this one. smile.gif
