That's awesome. What kind of OSP discount are you offering? (knowing that you just saved a LOT of money by not having to advertise this new biz...wink, wink, nudge, nudge... smile.gif )

Well Dan... I have a group buy going on another forum, so I'll post the same group buy here. If this is against the rules, please let me know. smile.gif

To kick off the newest division of Becky Edwards Photography, BE Photographers Services, I am having a Buy One Get One Free Introductory Sale for the first 10 people to reply to this thread!

This sale pertains to Proofing Services (Basic Editing) only.

Purchase proofing/basic editing services for one file, get one file processed free! A minimum of 30 files must be purchases to get the BOGO, and a maximum of 300 files (meaning buy 300 get 300 free)!

All BOGO "credits" expire on Feb 29, 2008.

It will go like this:

Purchase 30 files, get 30 files free
Total paid $33.00 ($66.00 value)

Purchase 50 files, get 50 files free
Total paid $55.00 ($110.00 value)

You can check out my photo services site by clicking the link www.bephotoservices.com

Or you can email me with any questions. becky@beckyedwardsphoto.com

You can paypal your payment to becky@beckyedwardsphoto.com!

Just think - you can actually spend a day Christmas shopping this year, instead of proofing!

This BOGO sale will expire on Monday October 29, 2007.

FYI - the 3-5 day turn around is for general portrait sessions only. Wedding editing with several hundred files will have a time quote on a case by case basis.

Wow, you charge $1 per file!? Is that common? That seems like a lot! What if I needed 500 files from my last wedding edited? $500?? Or does it change depending on how many files you have?

Sorry to bring down the happy vibe. Just seems soooo pricey to me!

Hi Sarah,

Yes, $1.00 per file is common. I have been asked by others and will consider a bulk rate, but it won't be less than the BOGO offer. I don't know what it would be at this time.

laughing.gif I still think I could hire someone and train 'em to edit exactly how I want them to for that amount of moolah. $500 a week? I could make one college student veeeery happy with that kinda dough!

I can and will personally vouch for Becky's work. I've known her for a couple of years now, and she ROCKS!!!!!

She has the same ideaology that we do when it comes to your work - she CARES. She'll ask questions, and get it done right.

...and no, I was not paid in file prep or chocolate for this announcement! *snerk* nana.gif

All the best,

I have to agree with the high price being out of line with others, not just lavalu (which I happily use) but all the other folks that I know that offer this service; the price point is between $.25 to $.50 at the very top. At 800-1000 images per wedding there is just no way that even at $.55 per proof image its worth while. I can do the edits myself in about three/four hours and pay myself the $800-1000. Sorry Becky!
