Hey I was wondering how you copyright your work, how you get your own logo, and how you put it on your photos??
No one should steal but it happens.....

For detailed information on copyright, you can check with the Professional Photographers of America website, but generally, the second you activate the shutter, your work is copyrighted to you and considered protected.
You can get your own logo by hiring a professional designer to create it for you and you can put it on your photos using Photoshop.
hope this helps.

I did a trade with a marketing firm for a logo design. I did commercial photos for one of their customers and got a logo. ;-)

you need to register statutory copyright to have an sort of meaningful protection.
I believe you can register photographs as a collection rather than individually (which would be a little crazy).
If you haven't registered copyright you get no statotory damages and are only entitled to actual damages and profits. Tricky to prove. And the burden of proof is on you, not the other guy.
If you register copyright before the infringement and the infringement is deemed to be intentional you can get upwards of $100K in damages for each count. Are you really going to sue and is the other guy going to give a damn if you have to prove 'damages' and 'profits' and only stand to get those and costs back at the end of the process? Not likely.
