Full Version: Wedding shot on crutches...

the real Carrie V

Once again, ya'll... thanks SO much for all of your thoughts and prayers last week! I went to the doctor, had an x-ray, had the x-ray read by a few folks, and they finally decided that my foot was NOT broken... just badly sprained/bruised. (I was NOT down for wearing a cast!)

Anyway, here's some of the final effort from my camera that day:

(Ring shot that I got stuck in the sand shooting, LOL!)

(I love the shots with her Grandfather; he has alzheimer's, and had trouble with most things that day, but he was clear for a few moments, recognizing her, and what he was there to do...)

(missing groom)

Gorgeous as always, Carrie!! Love the ring shot!!

Great stuff! I thought for a minute that the old guy was the groom. I was gonna say WOWWW! Glad you stuck in that last shot for dummies like me (who need more sleep!)
Melody
You're amazing even when you're all gimpy smile.gif

I'll just go ahead and admit it:

We took Carrie's foot out because she was on our turf -- St. Augustine.

Nobody shoots at the Lightner Museum unless we say so.

Judging by the pictures our goons didn't do a good enough job. I said "Break the foot!" not "Bruise the foot." Looks like we may need new goons.

that picture of her with her grandfather is priceless. I can see her just being so thankful and full of emotion that he was able to walk her down that aisle. It made me tear up.

PS... don't tell me if she was really ho-hum about the whole thing. I DONT want to know. smile.gif

She wasn't! She was very happily emotional the whole day, but especially around her husband and grandfather.
And don't know if I've ever had a more appreciative bride AFTER the fact!!

(And that's the truth!)
SarahT
Wow.. you are a superstar. These are great!!! smile.gif
