Ok so I just got m ST-E2 in today and was tinkering with off camera flash and noticed then when my 430ex is in slave mode, regardless if it is in TTL or Manual mode, the focus beam on the flash is constantly blinking. I read both manuals and they stated that it should flash for one second only once a connection between the two is made.
I find this rather curious if not a bit annoying and would like to ask if there is something I am missing here.

Never mind... my reading comprehension is out the window today... the manual states that it should blink once a second, not for one second. DOH!
