Hey Everybody!

I Finally traded (or am about to trade) my blah HTML site for a new sleek BLU site! Yeah! Anyway, I'm an art student so I know that you are only as good as your weakest photo, so would anybody want to take a few moments to critique:

1) The overall site

2) Photos, do any need to be edited out?

3) Text (there is a lot of it, so this is for the REALLY bored)

4) After viewing the site:
-What is your overall feeling?
-What do you think my personality and photo style is?
-What kind of client do you think this will attract?

5) Any extra bits you may have seen or thought of.

Anybody who has some time one their hand, or wants a break from whatever you are doing, I would love to hear any input (good or bad) that you may have. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!!!!

1.) Overall- I like the feel...it is fun and bright and the images look great!
2.) I didn't look at every single image, but there were not any that I thought you should remove. ( for a minute I thought about the one with the H&H bride on the bridge and how it looks dangerous- but it really is an awesome shot and very creative!)
3.)Seem good- I like the about you page
4. After looking at everything, I think that the splash page is off for some reason. I think that you have a stronger image that can go there- one that pulls me in immediately (I am no expert though). And the Name on the site- the font is not looking smooth or clear and I find it a little distracting. A few other small things I thought about were that I wanted to see a whole wedding ( I didn't see the links to them until my second visit to the weddings section.

I love the whole site and think that the fun, outgoing clients that really care about photography would be attracted to your site. I think you have done a really nice job! Way to go smile.gif

... was that the HTML site?

I don't think I put the bridge photo on the FLASH site...

Ok- now that I am looking at the right site everything looks great! You really have some awesome work! I love your new site- hey your old one wasn't bad at all smile.gif
Kadie Pangburn
LOL! I do stuff like that all the time!

Thanks for taking the time to look at it again smile.gif

Yeah the old site wasn't horrible, but I made it myself and it was REALLY hard to update, compared to it my new BLU site is like a walk in the park!

Very nice. I love the colours.

I would maybe only have one ring shot and one shoe shot though.

And in the portrait section, I would either add some new work, or group images of the same person together.

Your TTD photos are awesome.

I love that you have one wedding package (my motto is simple=better), and I love that your TTD sessions/after session are called Hitched and Haute! Love it.

One little thing...on your about me page, swimming is spelled wrong (swimming with fish)...

Wow Amanda... good eye, thanks' for the catch! I can't spell to save my life smile.gif

Either way, I am scared to death of swimming with fish!

A lot of people don't understand the one package thing, but for me it was the best move I ever made. Because even when I booked a 6 hour wedding, I would end up staying 8 hours, (or longer) because I felt bad leaving while their was still stuff going on. Plus time limits just stress out a bride and groom, and they have enough stress and don't need to worry about cramming all their reception events together because I'm going to be leaving soon... So yeah, I love it.

Hitched and Haute I did just because when you say TTD right away it's kinda negative, I mean who really wants to TRASH their wedding dress? It's the same thing but psychologically it sounds better I think.

Thanks again for your time Amanda!

Hey Kadie,

First off, I LOVE your photos, so fabulous! You have so much personality it's practically jumping off the screen.

That being said, the second image in your rotating intro is by far the weakest photo on your site. It just isn't vibrant and awesome like your other ones. That's the only thing I noticed.

Otherwise, looks awesome!

Great job!

Thanks Katherine,

I really appreciate you taking the time to look, I'll see about switching that photo out with a different one smile.gif

Thanks for the lovely comments too!
